Mission of Master of Sciences in City and Regional Planning programs is to contribute to University of Management and Technology’s leading community by linking the academic excellence with stakeholders in domain or urban planning and policy.

2       Program Objective

1)      To extend the service of city and regional planning department at University of Management and Technology from undergraduate to graduate level of academy

2)      To attempt to help individual professionals to develop to an advanced level of their career

3)      To generate impact quality research in the field or urban planning and policy to ensure academic service to society

Admission Requirement:

  • Eligibility / Pre-requisite Qualification:

(A)  Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) accredited by PCATP

(B)  Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning (B.Sc. CRP) accredited by PCATP

(C)  Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. Civil Engineering) accredited by PEC

(D)  Bachelor of Building and Architectural Engineering accredited by PEC

(E)  Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information System

  • Admission Criteria:

(A)  No third division in academic career

(B)  University Entry Test

(C)  GAT General with Minimum 50% Marks

(D)  Minimum (50 %) marks in previous degree in case of annual system or (2.50 ) CGPA in case of semester system in the degree awarding institution for admission in UMT MS/MPhil

(E)   Admission Interview by UMT Graduate Admission Committee
