Faculty Profile

I am a town planner, educator, and researcher with a strong commitment to developing sustainable and inclusive urban environments. I hold both BSc and MSc degrees in City and Regional Planning from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), where I teach courses including Rural Planning, Planning of New Towns, Environmental Engineering, and Planning Legislation. My teaching approach blends theory with real-world challenges, encouraging critical thinking around infrastructure justice, sustainability, and equity. I integrate field experiences and interdisciplinary insights into my classrooms, fostering practical learning and active student engagement. Since joining UMT in 2023, I have contributed to curriculum development, supervised research projects, and participated in academic committees and events.
